Dr. Warford Johnson, M.D., is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He attended Washington University in St. Louis for his undergraduate studies and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School, Houston and his fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Johnson also served in the military as a Flight Medical Officer/Flight Surgeon.
He is former Chairman of the Missouri State Mental Health Commission, and former Chairman of the Internal Medicine Department and Chief of Staff of Cox Health systems.
He retired as an interventional cardiologist and partner in the Ferrell-Duncan Clinic in Springfield, MO and now practices non-invasive cardiology at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital in Carthage, MO.
