Member Biography

Jon Mattson D.O. is a graduate of A.T. Still University/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he did an undergraduate teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He then completed his rotating internship and Family Medicine residency at the Medical Center of Independence/University of Health Sciences-College of Osteopathic Medicine program. Dr Mattson has a variety of experiences including private family medicine, emergency medicine and for over the 12 years he has practiced wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Since 2017 he has worked as the Wound Care Medical Director at St Luke’s North Hospital which is part of the
premier health care system in the Kansas City area and the State of Missouri. Prior to joining St Luke’s, he was the Medical Director for Ozarks Medical Center Wound Care Services in West Plains, MO.

Dr Mattson has worked with Premier Specialty Network (PSN) since 2007 which is shortly after Dr Jackson began sharing and expanding his novel idea in medicine. Dr Mattson started working part time with PSN and eventually joined full time in 2012 when he made the move to wound care full time. He continues to maintain his board certifications in Family Medicine and in Neuromusculoskeletal medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and uses a wholistic approach in his patient care. When Dr Mattson joined St Luke’s North hospital, he was appointed the medical director for PSN in the Kansas City area.
