M. K. Jarbou, MD, is a physician specializing in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, with more than two decades of experience caring for critically ill and medically complex patients. He is board certified in anti-aging and regenerative medicine (ABAARM) and is a co-founder of The Longevity Clinic and Lab. His clinical experience led him to develop The Reserve System, a framework for understanding health through physiologic capacity, resilience, and the ability to withstand future stress. Before the Alarm: What the ICU Reveals About Real Longevity is the first book in The Reserve System series.
