Dr. Robert Remis was born in Columbus, Georgia, and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. His residency was at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center affiliated hospitals in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Remis has over thirty years of experience in general urology. Although he is no longer doing major surgery, Dr. Remis has performed numerous urological surgeries including advanced laparoscopic kidney surgeries, prostate and bladder surgeries and urinary tract cancer surgeries.

In addition to his urological practice, he is a guest lecturer for the Stephens College Physician Assistant Program.

Dr. Remis is a member of the American Urological Association, board certified and re-certified by the American Board of Urology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Remis resides in Columbia, Missouri, with his wife and he enjoys spending time with his 3 children. He likes biking, traveling, and reading.
