23rd Annual Midwest Regional Nursing Educators Conference
November 13, 2019 @ 8:00 am - November 15, 2019 @ 5:00 pm
In its 23rd year, the primary goal of this annual event is to strengthen linkages between practice-based and academic nursing educators. Jointly developed by practicing academic faculty and seasoned hospital-based educators, the content is both evidence-based and practically useful.
This 2 ½ day event opens on the evening of November 13 with a preconference workshop. The first full day, November 14, primarily targets practice-based educators. However content will be of interest to all nursing educators. The final day, November 15, is co-sponsored by the Missouri Association for Colleges of Nursing and offers sessions primarily related to the academic arena. However, in order to promote meaningful dialogue between practice-based and academic educators, the general sessions on both Nov. 14 and 15 are designed to attract both target audiences.
Target audience: Although Day One primarily targets Practice-Based Educators and Day Two Academic Educators, this event is intentionally planned for both audiences and includes sessions of common interest each day. For this reason, about half the participants attend both days.
