The Midwest section of the Lupus Foundation of America held their annual gala to celebrate achievements to improve patient outcomes. PSN collaborated with the Lupus Foundation as a sponsor to create an impactful event. One of the awardees was the Saint Louis Rheumatology Association. For over 70 years the Saint Louis Rheumatology Association has worked to improve patient outcomes by bringing national and international speakers to meet with private practice physicians and St Louis University School of Medicine and Washington University School of Medicine faculty to implement the best practices for improved patient outcomes.
Looking toward the future, new translational research results from Oncology and Immunology mean impactful new treatments for patients suffering with Lupus are just around the corner.
